Family dispute resolution is a member of the ADR or alternative dispute resolution. Family dispute resolution focus on providing dispute resolution mechanism to families who are in dispute. Family mediation is non-confrontational in nature and progressive. It encourages parties to focus on the future and problem-solving strategies rather than the problems of the past.
The family alternative dispute resolution program address issues related to child protection; juvenile victim-offender disputes; marital conciliation; parent coordination; divorce; and suits affecting parent/child relationship.
